Giuseppe Sergi
Giuseppe Sergi is the co-founder of the European Union Association (EUUSA), he was also founder and president  of the European Union Students Association at New York University in 1996.
Giuseppe has been actively promoting the development of and independent European Union civil society presence in North America and at the United Nations for over 20 years being also among the first group of EU students who founded  the European Business Forum at NYU GPA (now called European Business Society at Stern School of Business) in 1987.

Giuseppe has worked in the financial serices industry at ABN-AMRO in New York and holds degrees in Management, International Business and Information Systems at New York University, he has also studied German and French in Munich Germany and Paris France, he is presently founding president and public relations coordinator for EUUSA.

 

 

Pete Chatziplis

Pete Chatziplis has been cooperating with EUUSA since 2006 focusing in the areas of finance, business and economics.  He has over 10 years of diversified experience in advising large multinational corporations in mergers & acquisitions, financial and strategic consulting, business development and capital raising, working for Deloitte & Touche in Europe and the US.  Pete holds an MBA from Manchester Business School UK/Kelley Business School Indiana University and a Bsc/Msc from the National Technical University of Athens Greece.  He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (IFRS), a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Corporate Finance Advisor from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.  He has given presentations and written articles on topics related to Mergers & Acquisitions.

Dina Ciarmatori.
Dina Ciarmatori has played an active role with the EUUSA as a marketing director since 2006 as with a

 
focus on international development and the MDGs, women’s rights, social enterprise and economics. She has over five years experience in the area of transatlantic relations and collaborating with various stakeholders in the US and EU. She currently resides in New York and Rome and holds a Masters in European Politics from the University of Bath, UK
 
 

 

 

 

 

Raffaele Pelliccia

Raffaele Pelliccia has been cooperating with EUUSA since 2007 across various fields such as economics, finance and membership services.  He has over 3 years of experience in the treasury and financial sector working for LVMH, CNR and Fiat Finance & Trade.  Raffaele holds an MBA from Kelley School of Business Indiana University/Stern University and an Msc from Bocconi University in Milan.  He has also collaborated with the Ministry of Research and Universities in Rome to develop methodologies for financial restructuring and value creation. The research was published in the “International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management”.  Raffaele is currently based in Luxemburg and is responsible for the European office of EUUSA.

Jaana Otero

Jaana Otero cooperates with the EU Association  in event planning activities.  Jaana is an experienced meeting planner and owner of the Meeting Consulting Inc. (http://www.meetingconsulting.com). She has broad experience in the travel industry, both in incoming and outgoing travel. Her background is in the airline, hotel and destination management field. She is a valuable contact to Personal Assistants, Marketing Managers or those in charge of planning a company meeting or event.  Two of the most valuable services Meeting Consulting Inc. can deliver are free site selection and hotel contract negotiation services.   Jaana is also an active member with the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce (FACC), Finnish American Women’s Network (FAWN), Finland Center Foundation (FCF) and other Nordic groups, as well as Meeting Planners International (MPI).  She can be found on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
