The European Union Association promotes a better understanding of EU priorities and evolution in the United States and at the United Nations


Since 1996 the European Union Association has been dedicated to increasing awareness of EU policies and priorities among major US cultural and decision making circles as well as the representatives of the United Nations Family.

 History

The first groups of European Union Citizen activists founded the European Business Forum at NYU GPA School in 1987. In 1996 the EU Students Association was founded at NYU and in 2000 the EU Association was incorporated as a non governental organization in North America.

The European Union Association is a US Non-Profit Corporation devoted in the cause of global cooperation for more than 20 years.  The EU Association aims at communicating European Union’s positions in the United States and at the United Nations in the fields of culture, business, international relations as well as in common foreign security policy and promoting multilateral cooperation and relationships with the US and other regions especially in the East Asia.  EUUSA’s members, contacts and partners share high morals that promote global cooperation, something that is now more than ever an urgent need as manifested by the financial crisis and at the same time take advantage of opportunities for networking, recruiting, career and business development through EUSSA’s activities and events.   You can find more information on past event on the "Past Events" section.
